The “Eid Mubarak: Heritage Month Celebration” is an event organized by the Dallas Public Library to celebrate Eid al-Fitr and honor Islamic heritage. This event offers an opportunity to visit a Muslim multi-purpose/prayer space, sample delicious foods, try a henna tattoo, have your name written in Arabic calligraphy, and experience Islamic culture and civilization. A brief introduction to Islam and a Q&A session are also included. The event is free and open to all.
