The Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA) has launched a dedicated mental health series aimed at raising awareness, reducing stigma, and providing support for individuals facing mental health challenges within the Muslim community.

This initiative seeks to address the often-overlooked psychological and emotional struggles that many individuals experience, particularly within faith-based settings. The series includes a combination of webinars, workshops, and expert-led discussions that cover a wide range of topics such as anxiety, depression, stress management, trauma, and the intersection of mental health and Islamic spirituality.

Around 28 million Americans do not have health insurance. ICNA Relief is doing its part to combat this problem by offering free basic medical services.

Our free clinics are about connecting with humanity and serving our communities to the best of our ability. We all know that healing is from God and God alone; we are merely an instrument of the Healer.

Our clinics provide medical aid to the uninsured and in the future ICNA Relief envisions opening a hospital as part of its expansion efforts.

ICNA Family Services provides comprehensive support to individuals and families facing life’s challenges through counseling and educational programs. Our services include individual, family, and group counseling for depression, anxiety, trauma, and related issues. We assist refugees in adapting to their new living environment through psychoeducational training and coach youth struggling with adjustment issues. Additionally, we support women dealing with trauma by helping them develop essential social and emotional skills.

Our programs also extend to recovering addicts through drug rehabilitation classes, children in foster care, and seniors in need in select regions, ensuring holistic care and support for all.

Despite being one of the wealthiest nations in the world, millions of people in the United States struggle with food insecurity, meaning they lack consistent access to enough food for an active and healthy life. According to Feeding America, the largest hunger relief organization in the USA, an estimated 42 million Americans, including 13 million children, are facing hunger.

Food pantries play a critical role in addressing food insecurity by providing free or low-cost food to individuals and families in need. Many people rely on food pantries to help supplement their monthly grocery budget, particularly during times of financial hardship or crisis.

ICNA Relief operates one of the largest networks of Transitional Homes in the country. Our facilities were born out of necessity, providing temporary living accommodations for homeless women and their children since 2008. With the rise in homelessness and the lack of affordable housing, we have expanded across the country to ensure we are able to provide a safe alternative for those who find themselves homeless.

ICNA Relief provides culturally sensitive case management in a halal environment which fosters healing and growth while our clients work towards self-sufficiency.
