North Texas residents have until Thursday, April 3 to register to vote in the upcoming May 3 local elections, which include key city council, school board, and proposition races in Frisco, Plano, and Richardson.

âś… Voter Eligibility:

To register, residents must:

  • Be a U.S. citizen
  • Reside in Collin or Denton County
  • Be at least 17 years and 10 months old (18 by Election Day)
  • Not be a convicted felon (unless sentence and parole are completed)
  • Not be deemed mentally incapacitated by a court

Registration must be mailed or delivered to the county registrar; online registration is not permitted in Texas.
