North Texas residents have until Thursday, April 3 to register to vote in the upcoming May 3 local elections, which include key city council, school board, and proposition races in Frisco, Plano, and Richardson.

• April 3: Voter registration deadline
• April 22–29: Early voting
• May 3: Election Day

✅ Voter Eligibility:

To register, residents must:

• Be a U.S. citizen
• Reside in Collin or Denton County
• Be at least 17 years and 10 months old (18 by Election Day)
• Not be a convicted felon (unless sentence and parole are completed)
• Not be deemed mentally incapacitated by a court

Registration must be mailed or delivered to the county registrar; online registration is not permitted in Texas.

• City Council: Places 2 and 4 (Eight candidates)
• Frisco ISD Board: Three seats contested
