Mission: Empowering Muslim Voters
In addition to promoting voting rights, their Emerging Leaders program aims to develop the future generation of leaders by teaching teens and young people critical leadership qualities. Emgage Texas unites leaders, community advocates, and nonprofits to promote equity, justice, and opportunity through programs like the Muslim Civic Table. Their dedication to ensuring that everyone feels heard, seen, equal, and welcomed establishes their objectives and motivates their work to build a more equitable and inclusive Texas.
Programs: Leadership and Voting Initiatives
Emgage Texas offers several impactful programs aimed at empowering and mobilizing the Muslim community:
- Muslim Civic Table: The Muslim Civic Table is a program that brings together prominent Muslim leaders, advocates, and nonprofit groups. In order to promote equality, justice, and opportunity, it acts as a gathering place for the greater Muslim community and its supporters. Through community engagement, education, and activation in the political process, the initiative aims to build a more fair and inclusive society.
- Emerging Leaders Program: This initiative empowers teenagers and young adults with leadership skills, preparing them to become future leaders. Through webinars, community service projects, and immersion retreats, Emgage’s Emerging Leaders Program develops young Muslim American leaders. Participants receive training in community participation, political education, and mentoring during a six-month period.
Through internships in government offices, nonprofits, and civic organizations, they acquire invaluable experience while honing their leadership, policy research, public speaking, and advocacy abilities.

The importance of our vote is greater than it has ever been. Million Muslim Votes is intended to mobilize Muslim Americans to ensure that our voices are heard. Too much is at stake for us not to do all that we can to preserve our pluralistic democracy.”
